Our 7-18-2024 garage door opener replacement and door maintenance by Gary from Precision was one of our best home improvement experiences. With the heightened increase of storms in our area and possible electric outages, we wanted to be sure we could always leave/enter our garage. Gary clearly explained the battery back-up openers available from Precision, including all of the costs involved with each. There was no pressure at all in this selection process, just good information. While installing the new opener, Gary identified non-opener situations with our garage door that caused some operational problems we had described to him, and we authorized fixing those issues as part of this job. The result of installing a new opener and fixing those door issues has been a revelation: the door now opens and closes very smoothly with little noise, no more jerking and clattering, and the battery back-up works perfectly. We would definitely recommend Precision (and Gary) to anyone needing garage door work.

On initial telephone contact, I was left with the impression that they could replace the original springs, and they promised a promotional price for the pair. The service tech arrived promptly as promised. But the first thing was that the entire spring system had to changed over to coil springs. Several very expensive parts were needed to perform this. The tech prepared an estimate which included the originally promised spring price and an additional discount. Although the total was much higher than anticipated, and since I can no longer do this kind of work, I gave the go-ahead. On the positive side . . . The service tech was cheerful, friendly, informative and polite. He performed the replacement quickly, efficiently, and safely, completely cleaning up after himself. The result is a smooth running, quiet door. In summary, i can highly recommend Precision for their service and product quality. Just be prepared to pay!

Our technician, David was professional and courteous. He diagnosed the problem right away, the springs and explained how and why it happened. While it was not great craftsmanship from the previous installers he was upfront about pricing and what needed to be done. We went with the powder coated springs because we do use our garage door a good amount. I thought he was a great guy who did a stand up job!!

Matt was excellent; friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through the process and what each piece of the garage door mechanics did. I had the information I needed to make an informed decision. Matt took the time to go through this and never rushed. Excellent, top tier service.

The service tech was kind and friendly and very helpful and took time to explain everything clearly. Even though he offered “a $50 off coupon” the price for what took about 10 minutes to complete was still too high. It was just a matter of getting my garage door opener system reset and working (included reprogrammed the outside keypad). For just that I was charged approximately $160.00. That to me is unusually high for 10 minutes. Also I did not receive a paid receipt in my email which I expected to receive. I would still like to have a paid receipt.
