A bunch of details below, but the short of it is, would highly recommend. It was the day after Thanksgiving when our garage door stopped working, and we still had family in town. We purchased the door and opener from Sears. Which means no one would come to make a service call since they’re basically out of business. I called two other companies before precision, neither of which even answered the phone or returned the messages I left. Then I called precision. I talked to Teresa, who was very helpful and super accommodating. She told me they could have someone out later in the afternoon, which was fantastic. Greg made the service visit, and even called to let us know he would be earlier than expected. I could go on and on about the great job Greg did. He walked me through exactly what the issue was, broke down all of the options and costs, and helped me decide the best and most cost effective way to move forward. All said and done, it was just a couple hours and we had a brand new opener. It actually turns out we had gotten in touch with precision a few years ago before we had our garage door replaced and Greg had been our tech then as well. That was also a good experience. After the whole thing was done, my husband and I both agreed that we should have gone through precision to buy our garage door and opener in the first place. This was the best overall customer service experience I’ve had in while. And on the day after Thanksgiving with family still in the house, and my husband traveling most of the day taking more family back home, it was just so appreciated.

I paid $650 for a new garage door system. It was a bit expensive. But I am counting on lasting me for more than the 5 year warranty. We will see. Thanks for coming to my home quickly. Magaly Lopez

My spring broke while the cars were in the garage on a Saturday night. I needed to get them out by Monday morning. I did a google search of repair shops and saw many with good ratings. I decided to call the number posted by my opener for Shamrock garage repair by the previous owner of my house first. The man who answered did not seem like he wanted to come out. He said he had plans that afternoon and wanted me to schedule a Tuesday repair. I then decided to call precision from my google search. The girl that answered the phone was eager to help and told me what the after hours fee was and gave me a time frame. The man who came to fix it was professional and quick. I got the overhaul package I think it was called with 2 springs rollers and cables. He applied a couple discounts to the price so the after hours fee was greatly reduced and he replaced a bracket on my door that he didn’t charge me for. I was pleased with this company’s responsiveness and professionalism.

Our serviceman Dave gave us a heads up call before his arrival . He diagnosed the problem, solved it. Nice polite man. Case closed. I would highly recommend precision door of Columbus.
