Very professional friendly service.

I had used Precision Garage Door of Columbus at a previous house, so when our opener failed where we live now, they were our first call. Jason Daring arrived right on time, made a prompt assessment of the situation and provided me with several options for repair. Jason performed the repairs timely, with no mess, and explained all aspects of new equipment, all within the quoted amount. Jason is knowledgeable; more importantly he is very friendly and easy to work with.

Joseph Worley was my technician. Appreciated his call to notify approximately what time he would arrive. He was very kind, professional, personable, courteous, and took his time to explain to me the problem and viable solutions. Great personality, enjoyable to talk to, and provided excellent service as a technician.

Above all, it should be said that Patrick and owner were so kind to us today. He accessed our old opener and it could not be repaired so we bought a new one from them. Patrick installed it quickly and efficiently. We are so grateful and would recommend them to anyone.

Poor Experience My experience with Kimmie (sp?), Operator who took my call was positive. A same day appointment was scheduled and she let me know the process: 1) technician performs complete inspection 2) technician provides an estimate of work and cost 3) $49 charge if you choose not to proceed with the work. David arrived promptly within the window of time. He noticed immediately my door made “a lot of noise” upon opening and said he could alleviate with lubricant, which I replied great. David quickly diagnosed the issue as faulty wiring. Although manipulating the wiring seemingly resolved the issue, he was unsure if it would last and cautioned it might reoccur. He said the cost of work was $209. He could further fix the wiring issue, ensuring it would not reoccur for an additional $100. OR, we could pay the $209 and take the chance the issue would not reoccur. However, if he came back out (although he knew the issue) it would be an additional $209. At this point I had not received a written quote, only a verbal cost of $209. When I mentioned an additional $209 to come back out if the issue reoccurred seemed high: 1) given he knew the issue and 2) seemed inconsistent with the $49 charge quoted by Kimmie; and our exchange did not feel like a positive customer experience. I mentioned at this point not to proceed with work and I would pay the $49 for him coming out; (again the charge Kimmie quoted ). David seemed frustrated in our exchange and said I would not be charged anything, to which I responded “great”, and he proceeded to leave. It was a poor customer experience, SOPs (standard operating procedures) were not followed, complete with the up-sale of an $800 wireless control. Maurice Markey

Good service Skilled staff

I called Precision around noon and was told a technician would arrive between 4 & 6. I received a call from the technician (Chaz”) that he was on his way at 4:00. Chaz was very polite and professional as he diagnosed the problem, offered several options to repair the issue and within about an hour my garage door was working properly. I have used Precision Door since 2002 and they will always be my first call when I need my garage door serviced.
